Crocker Park Brisbane

Crocker Park is an aging but strategically located industrial park between San Francisco and the City's International Airport. The City of Brisbane requested an Urban Land Institute (ULI) Technical Assistance Panel to conduct a charrette to consider ways to update and improve the the Park and its relationship to their adjacent downtown. Frank Fuller was the architect and urban designer on the multi-disciplinary Panel, which spent two days in the City conducting the charrette and subsequently preparing a report, which was presented to City leaders. In addition to recommending substantial improvements to the Park's buildings and streets, the Panel also expanded the existing trails and amenities of Lawrence Halprin's original plan. In addition, the Panel proposed developments on sites in the downtown and improved connections between Downtown and nearby Crocker Park.
